“The Wise Man’s Fear” Ch 71-73: Following & Fighting

Mandy and Xavier recap Ch 71-73 of “The Wise Man’s Fear”- the second novel in the best selling fantasy series “The Kingkiller Chronicle” by Patrick Rothfuss.

In this episode, we get a short fan-fictiony interlude chapter where Bast tries to Plunder the Booty out of Kvothe the Bloodless’ Thrice-Locked-Chest. Is Kote really WHO he says he is? Back in the story, Kvothe decides to be creepy and follow Denna around after dark, unfortunately for him, he finds out more about Denna than maybe he’d like to know.

When Denna finishes her secret song project, and plays it for Kvothe- and while the song is destined to be a hit, it’s got some highly problematic lyrics.

**Sympathetic Spoilers Post-Show**
1. What’s in the Thrice Locked Chest?
2. Who is Denna’s Patron?
