“The Wise Man’s Fear” Ch 12-17: Kvothe’s Library Card

In Episode 69 of CasterQuest we recap chapters 12-17 of “The Wise Man’s Fear” in our ongoing book club covering Patrick Rothfuss’ best-selling fantasy series- “The Kingkiller Chronicle”.

Kvothe is eager to learn as he attends Master Elodin’s first naming class, but soon finds out that it’s not at all what he expected. We have a crash course in digging beneath the surface of things, and discuss secrets hidden in the archives. We decode Elodin’s lesson plan, and wrap up with a return to the Waystone Inn to host a heartfelt memorial for Shep.

The next book club will cover chapters 18-23.
